DETAILS

The trip is created for people who love adrenalin and nature. An explosive mix of what a real Mexico is. Here you can feel really free.

From Playa del Carmen we will take a ferry to Cozumel island (around 40 minutes).

Next, we will get on scooters and head towards the „Punta Sur” Ecological Park, which is a state reserve. Its range exceeds one thousand hectares, with lagoons systems predominating in it, which are a mosaic of great diversity and richness of flora and fauna.

On the way, we will stop at a paradise beach, have free time for a swim in the Caribbean Sea and lunch. Then continue driving with a short stop in the reggae bar on the way. Around noon we will get to the Eco Beach Park Punta Sur!

It is an ideal place for nature lovers. Wide beaches with fine white sand and turquoise waters, in which there are numerous reef formations.

Welcome to the natural paradise, where you will find a huge diversity of birds and animals. Possible observation of crocodiles in their natural environment, making this park a spectacular place. Catamaran cruise along the Colombia lagoon.

There are two lighthouses in Punta Sur Park: the first belongs to the pre-Hispanic period and is called “Templo Del Caracol”, which means the shell temple, the second is “El Faro Celarain”, both are faithful observers of the past and present.

We will visit the old keeper’s house where the Navigational Museum is located, testifies to the history of the Maya, pirates and privateers sailing in the Mexican Caribbean.

Due to the extensive beaches, Punta Sur is a nesting place for the sea turtle, which is subject to a protection program in which you can participate in the upcoming season. Free time until around 4pm. Drive back on scooters to the central part of the island. Return by ferry to Playa del Carmen.

Cozumel in Mayan language means Swallow Island. This Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea is located about 20 kilometers east of the shores of the Yucatan Peninsula. Administratively, it is one of the ten municipalities of the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. Cozumel is a tourist resort popular among diving enthusiasts. The main city on the island is San Miguel de Cozumel. The island lies about 10 km (6.2 miles) from the mainland and 90 km (56 miles) south of Cancun. In 2016, a biosphere reserve was established here.

The island is 48 km long and 16 km wide. The vast majority of permanent residents live in San Miguel (population: 71 401 in 2005), a midwife on the west coast. The rest of the island is a flat lowland with dense vegetation.
