Usually we do not like Mondays but this will be one of the most beautiful ones in your life. Holbox Island will always be in your memory. In Chiquila town, we’ll take a ferry to get to paradise. We will visit the island by golfcarts. Then we will go for lunch with  seafood menu  in a climatic beach pub, are You already dreaming about it? We will taste traditional, Mexican, strong Margaritas. Relaxation  time after meal.

The length of the island is 12 kilometers, width – 1.5 kilometers. Isla Holbox is separated from the mainland by the lagoon, which is home to various species of birds, including pelicans and flamingos. The over all population of  Holbox is 1198 persons, 604 of them are male and 594 of them are female.

The economy of the island is based mainly on fishing. Tourists visiting Isla Holbox mainly come to watch the whale sharks, which can be found from May to mid-September. There are virtually no cars on the island, and the main means of transport for residents are golf carts and mopeds.
